Pictured below are coronets & silkies (shelties) that we have bred over the years.  Some are still with us, some have moved on to new homes and others have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. I would like to share some of my favourites with you.

2 BIS, RIS Ch. Red Rock Gandla K'in [2001]

Absolutely Fabulous! and no way to describe the impact that this magnificent boar had my herd. "Dandy Gandy" was one of my all time favourites. He was sent to San Diego in 2001 where he was awarded Best Coronet by Judge Rosalie Beard at the ARBA National Show. Gandy was picked up from Los Angeles Airport (LAX), driven down to San Diego and shown by Sandy Dumitru (Sunflower Cavies) - then flown back to Canada. I could never thank Sandy enough, for showing Gandy to Red Rock's 1st ARBA National BOB Coronet win and taking such great care of him during his intercontinental and cross country trip!

2 RIS Ch. Red Rock Tlall [2001]

How I absolutely loved this boar.  One of my all time favourites and again, a foundation boar that changed everything in my caviary world. Tlall sired many "great ones" for Red Rock, including Sydney (see below).

BIS, 4 RIS Ch. Red Rock Sydney [2002]

Sydney, Sydney, Sydney - how I absolutely adored this beautiful sow. Sired by RR Tlall, Sydney was awarded BOB Coronet at the 2002 ARBA National Show. Sydney is the dam of "Icecapade", who had a great impact in our caviary, before retiring to Debonaire Cavies, New Jersey.

4 BIS Ch. Red Rock Kitwanga [2003]

Kitwanga took me on an incredible ride that I will never forget.  4 consecutive Best in Shows from the United States that included the Pennsylvania State Convention and the Michigan State Convention shows. From the moment "Kit" retired, he produced nothing back excellence, including Multiple BIS Ch. Red Rock Golfe du Lion. Kitwanga was produced from one of my favourite sows, 4 BIS Ch. Red Rock Kitamaat.

BIS/RIS Ch. Gilbert [2002]

This boar was stunning on the show tables, but where his claim to fame would rest would be in the breeding pen.  Countless descendants that have descended from Gilbert have been awarded Best in Shows (internationally, around the world!).  Gilbert's line has been known for its lovely body type, incredible coat characteristics. Gilbert will live on for many, many years through this international descendants. Gilbert was sired by RR Halifax (littermate brother to Sydney - see above!).

2 BIS, 2 RIS Ch. Little Buttercup [2004]

A very precious sow to me ... Buttercup was BIS at the 2005 OCC Convention and BOB at the 2005 ACBA Specialty Show (going against Multiple BIS champion boars!).  She was GORGEOUS and I adored her. Red Rock is thankful for the descendants of our precious.

BIS Ch. Bay of Biscay [2003]

Biscay gave Red Rock their first BIS Ontario Cavy Club (OCC) Convention win. She did it at the tender age of 5 months under Judge Waldemar Perez of Colorado.  To say it was a shocker would be an understatement to state the least. A brilliant sow who produced several beautiful babies. Gilligan, Paris, and Gulf of Guinea are all maternal grand-children of this beauty.

9 BIS Ch. Red Rock Eramosa [2004]

Talking about a ride .... Eramosa took me on the ride of my life! NINE - yes NINE "CONSECUTIVE" Best in Shows from this absolutely brilliant sow. We travelled from Ontario - New York - right down to Tennessee and she remained undefeated! Eramosa moved to the Netherlands after she produced some breath taking daughters for Red Rock. She will be forever treasured in our hearts as the sow that gave us everything.

Red Rock Gilligan [2005]

Never shown - but ... within his first year of breeding, Gilligan has sired 2 BIS Ch. RR Prince Hilarion; Multiple BIS Ch. Red Rock Flying Dutchman (owned/shown by Coosher Cavies, The Netherlands); and Danish & Swedish Ch. Red Rock Professor, Danish & Swedish Ch. Red Rock Mary Ann (both shown/owned by Sifus, Denmark).  Reports of Gilligan's son, Arac (full brother to Hilarion) are coming in from the South-West; whereby he is continuing the Gilbert Line sire power for Windswept, Arizona (USA).

2 BIS Ch. Red Rock Prince Hilarion [2005]

Champion son of Gilligan (see above) and beloved Princess Ida, this stunning, handsome boar was shown twice and he took Best in Show in both shows under Jim Hupp (Indiana) and Leslie Mullins (Ohio).  What an exciting day it was for Red Rock.  Hilarion is a valued treasure.

2 BIS, RIS Ch. Red Rock Golfe du Lion [2005]

A match made in heaven with my beloved champion, 4 BIS Ch. RR Kitwanga and the beautiful Gilbert daughter, RIS Ch. Red Rock Gulf of Guinea. Lion's son Marseille, recently took home Best in Show honours from the OCC Grimsby Show (SE 07).  Lion is continuing on his legacy with fashion ...

BIS-3 Ch. Red Rock Frank Mills [2007]

A son of Keegan's Sam and Red Rock Eden Mills - we didn't know how this cross would work. It turned out great! Frank was shown briefly and in his short show career, he garnished a BIS-3 win at the 2007 Ontario Cavy Club Convention (repeating his sire's 2006 feat). Frank now resides in Germany, but prior to his departure he sired lovely babies for us, including BIS/RIS Ch. Red Rock Dancing Sunbeam.

BIS Ch. Red Rock Marseille [2007]

Shown once to a BIS win, Marseille is a brilliant son of Golfe du Lion and Paris [littermate to Gilligan].  Red Rock is excited about adding this amazing boar to our broken colour breeding program.  Marseille has been sold to Sandy of California (Sunflower Cavies).  Wishiing Sandy all this best with this chub son of Lion.

BIS/RIS Ch. Red Rock Dancing Sunbeam [2008]

Currently being shown, our little ray of sunshine has been awarded a BIS-2 win at the 2008 Ontario Cavy Club Convention and a BIS-1 win from New York (USA).  She excels in coat qualities and is a doll to work with.

BIS Ch. Red Rock When Doves Cry [2008]

Shown once to a BIS win, Doves is a beautiful black & white silkie [sheltie] sow. After being shown 5 times to some very nice wins, including BIS under Rosalie Beard (Utah), Doves was retired to the breeding pen.
